1. Who we are
QR Studio Pro is operated by Outbox Kreative. This policy covers both our customers (account holders) and the people who scan QR codes or visit pages created with the Service.
2. What we collect from account holders
Your name, email, and a securely hashed password; the content you create (QR codes, designs, landing pages, uploaded files, campaigns); and subscription state. Payments are processed by PayPal — we never see or store card numbers or PayPal credentials.
3. What we collect when someone scans a QR code
When a dynamic QR code, short link, or hosted file is opened we record: timestamp, device type, browser, operating system, preferred language, referrer, and — when our infrastructure provides it — a country code. We never store raw IP addresses. A one-way salted hash of the IP is kept solely to estimate unique visits; it cannot be reversed to identify anyone. We do not use scan data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not build cross-site profiles.
4. Leads and form submissions
Information typed into a landing-page form (name, email, message) is stored for the workspace that owns the page and, if configured, emailed to them. That workspace is responsible for how it uses submitted data.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie for signed-in users, and short-lived cookies for password-protected QR unlocks and A/B test consistency. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Where data lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon, PayPal for billing). Uploaded files are served from content-addressed storage with unguessable URLs.
7. Retention and deletion
Content and analytics are kept while your account is active. Deleting a QR code, page, file, lead, or your account removes the associated data. Contact us to request full deletion or an export of your data.
